Cats name VFL round 9, VFLW round 5 teams

Ben Jensen, May 31 2018 GEELONG’s VFL and VFLW teams have been named for their weekend away matches against the Northern Blues and Melbourne University. The VFL women play on Sunday at 2:30pm at the Melbourne Uni main oval. Three players are out, with seven inclusions with four to be trimmed tomorrow night. Emma Oliver, Alisha Habib while 17yo Georgia Clarke her made his debut last week has been given a spell.

The VFL men play on Saturday at 2pm against the Northern Blues at Ikon Park (Princes Park / the old Optus Oval). Coming into the side are dropped AFL players Cory Gregson and Stewart Crameri along with George Horlin-Smith who didn’t play last week, missing the VFL match while on standy for the AFL. Out are Wylie Buzza and Lincoln McCarthy who get their first AFL runs of the season. The Blues have made quite a few changes with traffic between the VFL & the (Carlton) AFL teams, including Jack Silvani who earns a promotion.
