Hawthorn Hawks v Geelong Cats; 2019 round 5 Easter Monday match preview and final teams
Hawthorn Hawks v Geelong Cats; AFL 2019 round 5 Easter Monday match preview and team lists, MCG, Monday 22 April 2019
Ben Jensen, 20 April 2019 GEELONG has ‘managed’ Charlie Constable for the Easter Monday clash with Hawthorn at the MCG, recalling Cameron Guthrie in his place. The Cats earlier named four inclusions as part of an expanded interchange- Guthrie, his brother Zach, Zac Smith and James Parsons.
The Hawks settled on three changes, losing James Frawley to a hamstring injury, and omitting David Mirra and Jonathan Ceglar. They earlier named five inclusions.
The Cats line up remains a bit of a nonsense; it originally had Tom Atkins named at full forward, Tom Hawkins in the ruck and Rhys Stanley on a wing. Atkins remains at full forward while Stanley has been moved to the bench; and Hawkins remaining ruckman.
Zach Tuohy played earlier today in the VFL helping the Cats to their first win of the season over Werribee after losing their first two games; VFL team details follow below.
Finally Cats fans should note that V/Line trains WILL be running, though only to Southern Cross; from there you’ll need to catch a Metro train, tram, or walk.
