The match will be Cats skipper Joel Selwood’s tenth preliminary final and either Gary Ablett’s last or second last match, the legend due to retire at season’s end. The match will also be Geelong coach Chris Scott’s 450th game as a player and coach, the former Brisbane Lion now in his tenth season in charge of the Cats.
