Cats get job done

Geelong Cats v Adelaide Crows, AFL 2022 round 11 Ben Jensen Jeremy Cameron, Tyson Stengle and Gryan Miers enjoyed a day out against the Crows on Saturday, booting ten goals between them as they defeated the Adelaide Crows by 42 points. The match was a largely forgettable affair, played in front of just over nineteen thousand spectators. On Friday emergency Shannon Neale was elevated to make his AFL debut in the match, replacing Gary Rohan whose comeback from injury was cut short after just one match for the season.

With 32 goals for the season Jeremy Cameron is now in equal second place in the 2022 John Coleman Medal race with St Kilda’s Max King, behind leader Charlie Curnow from Carlton on 37. Tom Hawkins, who kicked two goals, is equal fourth on 31, tied with Richmond’s Tom Lynch. This Friday night the Cats play the eighth placed Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium before having a week off with a bye.
