Carlton Blues v Geelong Cats, AFL 2022 round 18 Ben Jensen THE CATS cemented top spot on the AFL ladder with a thirty point win over the Blues on Saturday night at the MCG. Carlton finished the first quarter strongly and led Geelong by three points at quarter time but from then on it was relatively one way traffic. Another dominant third term put the Cats ahead by 29 points, a margin they would extend by just one more point in the final quarter, banking another four points in their seventh consecutive win.
