Gold Coast Suns v Geelong Cats; AFL 2023 round 3 match preview and team lists
Carlton Blues v Geelong Cats, AFL 2023 round 3 match preview and team lists
Ben Jensen TOM STEWART has been recalled, missing just one game after suffering a knee injury in round one, while premiership ruckman Rhys Stanley will miss, officially managed but under a cloud after Carlton ruckman Tom de Koning savaged his ribcage with a leading knee in round two. Coming in to replace Stanley is Jonathan Ceglar who played three matches late last season but was dropped for the finals series. Gary Rohan is also out managed with last week’s substitute Cooper Whyte has been named as an emergency. Gold Coast, like Geelong winless, dropped three players and last week’s substitute. It willbe Jack Bowes’ first match against his old club. Bowes played 83 games for the Suns from 2017 – 2022, but only five in 2022 due to a shoulder injury.
