CATS TO PLAY KANGAROOS IN HOME FINAL ON SUNDAY AT MCG; TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY

By Ben Jensen MINOR PREMIER GEELONG will play the fourth placed Kangaroos at the MCG in the first qualifying final next weekend. Today the Kangaroos sealed the double chance with their win over the Western Bulldogs. Rivals Hawthorn lost control of their destiny after their twelve-goal thrashing by the Sydney Swans last night. The winner goes straight through to the 'first' Preliminary Final and has the week off, the loser to face the winner of the first Elimination Final between Hawthorn and Adelaide.

Tickets start at $41.70 for Adults, $29.40 Concession, $10.50 kids, and go on sale from 9am Monday.

The Cats lost Matt Egan to injury, following which Lion Jonathan Brown kicked most of his seven goals. Geelong will play their qualifying final next weekend against a yet to be determined opponent. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Monday.
