IN A ROW By Ben Jensen AFL ROUND 18 2007, GEELONG V RICHMOND GEELONG thrashed Richmond by seventy points, earning their thirteenth win in a row in front of 21,951 at Skilled Stadium. Brad Ottens was exchanged for Travis Varcoe before the first bounce, leaving Steve King and Mark Blake to share the ruckwork between them. Blake kicked his first two goals of his fledgeling AFL career while Steve Johnson kicked a bag of five. Former Premier Steve Bracks was a no show, presumably still finding some transport after losing the government car plus his son's Saab.
