CATS OVERRAN AGAIN

JLT COMMUNITY SERIES 2017: ADELAIDE CROWS V GEELONG CATS GEELONG played well every second quarter but it wasn't enough to get over the line against Adelaide at Richmond Oval, Adelaide on Sunday afternoon. Angering fans on Twitter the Cats the Cats struggled early before breaking even by quarter time and edging ahead at half-time. In the third quarter the Cats barely managed to score in the third quarter, the Crows booting five goals seven behinds to the Cats' solitary behind. While the Cats held the Crows scoreless in the final term they fell one goal short.

Lachie Henderson managed to get injured again, this time a shoulder injury after copping a hip complaint last game. But it was Nakia Cockatoo's collision with Crow Dean Gore that got all the attention, the young Cat facing suspension depending on the results of the AFL Match Review Panel. Next Sunday Geelong plays Essendon in Bendigo at Queen Elizabeth Oval.
