CATS BEAT ROOS IN FINAL NAB CUP GAME GEELONG denied North Melbourne a lucrative spot in the NAB Cup grand final, holding off the Kangaroos by two goals in terribly challenging conditions at Simonds Stadium with a largely unknown list. Playing in 37 degree heat the quarters were shortened and the AFL decided to scrap the trial 80 interchange cap for the match. Paul Chapman was the star for the Cats, dominating the final quarter with three good goals. This Friday Geelong host Collingwood at home for the first time since the 1990s. Entry is free for all club and AFL members, with general admin setting you back $5.
