CATS FALL TO
DOCKERS By Ben Jensen (back in Edinburgh - back in Geelong by September) FREMANTLE DOCKERS stunned the Geelong Cats at Subiaco Oval this afternoon, winning by seven points in a tightly contested final quarter. Geelong struggled early in the game, behind at half time but taking control early in the third term. The Dockers wouldn't be downed however, going 20 points behind the Cats but never giving up. A six goal to three final quarter was enough to snuff out the Cats, who despite snatching the lead back through debutante James Podsiadly with just over three minutes to go, couldn't hold on. Undefeated (yes you read it correctly) Dockers sit second on the ladder behind St Kilda, while the Cats are down to 6th.
