CATS OUTSMART TIGERS AT GEELONG AFL 2017 ROUND 21: GEELONG CATS V RICHMOND TIGERS ALL THREE GEELONG sides had wins today, in the VFL, VFL Women's and finally the AFL side cemented third spot on the ladder, defeating Richmond by 14 points. Harry Taylor booted four goals to vindicate the decision to move him up forward this season in the absence of key forward Tom Hawkins. Cameron Guthrie stood out in the midfield combining with Patrick Dangerfield and Sam Menegola to compensate for the loss of Joel Selwood and Mitch Duncan. Earlier the VFL had their first win in just under two months while the VFL Women's side also had a win on St Mary's Oval- the first time all three sides have won in the one day.
