VFL PRELIMINARY FINAL 2006: WILLIAMSTOWN V GEELONG;
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM LIST By Ben Jensen GEELONG face fourth placed Collingwood affiliate Williamstown at Port Melbourne's TEAC Oval in the second of the Victorian Football League's preliminary finals. The winner of the battle between the Cats and Seaguls / Magpies will go through to the grand final. In the other preliminary final, flag favorites Sandringham and Northern Bullants square off against each other. Nick Batchelor returns to the starting 18 side in place of Travis Varcoe, who remains on the eight man interchange, while Ryan Butler was left out of the squad of 26 altogether. Last time these two teams met Steve Bracks' Seagulls came out on top to the tune of fourty-two points. Henry 'Hank' Playfair kicked four goals for the Cats while Williamstown's Andrew Williams also kicked four. SEN 1116 will be broadcasting the game whilst ABC TV will be telecasting the game in Victoria. GEELONG WILLIAMSTOWN
