CATS TOUCHED UP AT HOME BY DOCKERS GEELONG CATS V FREMANTLE DOCKERS ON SUNDAY Geelong kept up with Fremantle for about a half of footy but was belted thereafter, a seven goal to two third quarter finishing off the Cats' hopes of picking up their first win for the season. Nathan 'Nat' Fyfe was the star of the day, along with David Mundy and Michael Barlow. Fyfe, who we hadn't watched play too many times before, was really impressive, his goal in the second quarter where he somehow got past four Cats to boot a long goal the highlight. The only other green shoots for the Cats was the first match of Rhys Stanley since crossing from St Kilda. Coming in as a late change for Jared Rivers the versatile Stanley competed well all day, spending time taking ruck duties from Dawson Simpson and kicking two goals. Fellow talls Tom Hawkins and Mitch Clark also kicked two apiece. Cory Gregson in his game also gave plenty. Finally there was much fanfare about food pricing at the likes of the MCG and Etihad Stadium pre-season. We're pleased to report the wonderful 'Wun Hung Lo' behind the Players Stand sells very tasty and relatively healthy steamed dim sims and dumplings; get on it! Jimmy Bartel is set to be named tonight to play the Gold Coast on Sunday.
