CATS SPANK EAGLES IN THE WEST AFL ROUND 21 2013 WEST COAST EAGLES V GEELONG CATS GEELONG FLOGGED West Coast at Subiaco this evening. Another four goals, best on ground and surely three votes for Joel Selwood who followed his BOG against Port last week with a superb display again tonight. The Cats were well on top of the Eagles midway through the second quarter, finding themselves fifty six points up at half time. They extended the margin to seventy points at three quarter time before putting the cue in the rack to a certain degree in the last, kicking just the one goal to West Coast's two to finish sixty-six point winners. Best on ground to half time was probably Steven Motlop who was taken off and replaced with substitute Josh Caddy after developing hamstring soreness. Eagle ruckman Dean Cox was reported for striking Selwood in the third quarter in an off the ball incident.
