CATS MAKE MCG CLASH A ONE SIDED AFFAIR By Ben Jensen twitter.com/thecattery ST KILDA SAINTS V GEELONG CATS GEELONG beat St Kilda by 28 points in a match that was a lot more one-sided than the scoreboard suggests. St Kilda led by 3 points at the first break but from then on it was pretty much all one way, the Cats outscoring the Saints by 6 goals to 1 in the second quarter and broke even the other two to ensure they retained bragging rights for the season. Dan Menzel was prominent up front for the Cats with 4 goals, joined by other multiple goal-kickers in Matty Stokes, James Podsiadly, Nathan Vardy (who has been terrific since coming into the side) and Paul Chapman. Chapman had 25 disposals including a team-high 17 kicks in addition to the 2 goals, and was just about our pick for best. Joel Corey though probably just edged him out for consistency throughout the match and the sheer number of possessions and was named best afield.
