AFL ROUND 20 2007: KANGAROOS V GEELONG; MATCH PREVIEW PLUS TV / RADIO BROADCAST DETAILS
Ben Jensen 17 August 2007

By Ben Jensen KANGAROOS V GEELONG CATS MINOR PREMIERS Geelong travel up the Princes Freeway to play the Kangaroos this Sunday afternoon in a designated 'away' game. Paul Chapman should make his long awaited return from a groin injury, at the expense of Shannon Byrnes. Working his way back into the side is Josh Hunt, after a best on ground performance in last week's VFL win over North Ballarat. Forced out of the side is gritty defender David Johnson.

All eyes this afternoon were be on the Geelong selectors' decision on the ruck division. Once more Mark Blake lost out and will play in the VFL, Steven King having taken his place as the second ruckman behind Brad Otens.

The Cattery will be there to cover the match, but may experience a delay of two-three hours reporting the scores.

CATS CRASH OUT TO KANGAROOS
Ben Jensen 29 April 2007

GEELONG's fledgling season may well be over already after crashing out to the Kangaroos at Skilled Stadium today. Despite a late comeback, it was too little, too late as the Kangaroos won by . The positive aspects of the day were the form of Joel Selwood and the VFL team. Selwood played well above expectations of a fourth gamer whilst the VFL team had a rousing win over North Ballarat. 21,462 were in attendance, including Premier Steve Bracks, a disappointing crowd considering it was the first game at Skilled Stadium of the season.
