AFL ROUND 9 2010; COLLINGWOOD V GEELONG; MATCH PREVIEW INCLUDING TEAM LISTS, TV DETAILS
Ben Jensen 21 May 2010

By Ben Jensen COLLINGWOOD MAGPIES V GEELONG CATS THE J-POD is back for Geelong's clash with ladder-leaders Collingwood (yes that's right) this Friday at the MCG. The two James', Podsiadly and Kelly, return from injury to add strength to a Cats side pumped for the title challenger Magpies. The Wobblers brought back midfielder Sharrod Wellington in place of forward Jack Anthony, who doesn't have a good record against the Cats. Geelong coach Mark Thompson dismissed talk his side has less motivation than Collingwood; "I think our guys love playing against good teams and Collingwood are a good team and we have had some great contests. So we will do everything we possibly can and I know our boys will be motivated on Friday night to play near to their best football they can." Joel Corey remains absent through injury, while young Mitch Brown likewise remains on the sidelines.
