AFL ROUND 20 2011; GEELONG V GOLD
COAST; MATCH PREVIEW INCLUDING TEAM LISTS, TV DETAILS By Ben Jensen twitter.com/thecattery GEELONG CATS V GOLD COAST SUNS GARY ABLETT won't be playing this Saturday, citing a hamstring injury he initially picked up against Collingwood. Please note, the game has been brought forward half an hour due to the bad light last week - GAME STARTS 13:40. With the Gold Coast missing Ablett and Geelong having comprehensively belted Melbourne last weekend, the Cats are tipped to win by at least 100 points. Key player Brad Ottens is out again with a knee complaint, leaving Trent West to shoulder the ruck load assisted by Tom Hawkins, who along with Cameron Mooney retained his spot in the side. Nathan Vardy remains an emergency, and we wouldn't be surprised if he made an appearance should another player withdraw with 'soreness' today or Saturday morning. Corey
Enright is the restee this week, and may he well be sore after getting
so many kicks and taking so many marks last Saturday. Josh Hunt and
James Podsiadly make welcome returns, Hunt moving straight into the
back pocket and 'Pods'

2011, ROUND 10 GOLD COST V GEELONG SATURDAY 28 MAY 2011 19:10 AEST METRICON STADIUM MATCH PREVIEW: AFL ROUND 10 2011; GOLD COAST V GEELONG CATS TESTED BY ABLETT'S SUNS BUT WIN
BY 11 GOALS By Ben Jensen twitter.com/thecattery GOLD COAST SUNS V GEELONG CATS GEELONG were tested by AFL new boys Gold Coast and in fact trailed at half time, but won after a 13 goal to 1 second half to cement their position on top of the ladder undefeated after nine games. Gary Ablett and former teammates embraced warmly after the match as hostilities ceased, and even Steve Johnson and Campbell Brown hugged and had a good chat. Johnson was certainly in a good mood after kicking seven goals, his best yet. Read The Cattery's Mark 'Heano' Heenan's report of proceedings here; Mark moved to the Gold Coast late last year.
