COLLINGWOOD MAGPIES V GEELONG CATS GEELONG and COLLINGWOOD face
off for the second but possibly not the final time for season 2011
at the MCG tomorrow night. After the 'loss we may or may of had to have'
to Sydney on the weekend the Cats have the tail between their legs to
a certain degree but ultimately this match will probably not go down
in the annals of history. The Cats have made two changes, dropping reigning
club scapegoat Shannon Byrnes and quite surprisingly defender Tom Lonergan
for Mitch Duncan and Darren Milburn, resisting the temptation to bring
back Cameron Mooney. Collingwood made three changes, bringing back Luke
Ball, Chris Tarrant and Dirk Wellingham in place of the suspended Dale
Thomas and omitted Leon Davis and Tom Young. FULL

GEELONG defeated
Collingwood by three points in front of over 81,000 fans at the MCG
tonight.
The Cats started off in control but seemed to be kicking themselves
out if it as the Magpies came back to boot five goals in the second
quarter. But Geelong were too good when it counted, outscoring the Wobblers
in the second half to remain undefeated and take top spot on the AFL
