AFL 2013 ROUND 20; GEELONG
V PORT ADELAIDE;
MATCH PREVIEW By Ben Jensen twitter.com/thecattery GEELONG CATS V PORT ADELAIDE ANOTHER WEEK another five changes for Geelong, who host Port Adelaide at home on Saturday afternoon. The Cats got slaughtered in the ruck by North Melbourne and have reacted by dropping Trent West and bringing in Josh Walker who comes off the Rookie list due to the long term injury of Dawson Simpson. Also dropped are the two Hunts Travis and Josh, Mark Blicavs and Billie Smedts. This leaves the ruck duties to Nathan Vardy and Walker with the outside possibility of James Podsiadly or Tom Hawkins also playing a role, we say outside given the injury problems those two have, the latter with a chronic back complaint. Joining Walker on the inclusions are Podsiadly, Allen Christensen, Jared Rivers and Jesse Stringer. Ken Hinkley has made just the one change bringing back Nathan Blee for injury Daniel Stewart. In their earlier match this season the Cats bounced back after the loss to the Magpies with a 48 point win over Port, Hawkins and Podsiadly booting ten goals between them. In the VFL Geelong travels to Williamstown on Sunday, the match part of Asian Community Football Day put on by the VFL and Williamstown.
