TEAMS AND MATCH PREVIEW By Ben Jensen GEELONG CATS V WESTERN BULLDOGS HARRY TAYLOR plays with 150th AFL match for Geelong against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday. Once more the changes are to do with ruckmen, Hamish McIntosh coming ino the side this week in place of Jed Bews. Dawson Simpson retains his spot on the side, the Cats again going in with the two specialist ruckmen plus utility Mark Blicavs. The Bulldogs brought in three players, Ryan Griffen, Jordan Roughead and first gamer Jack Redpath; dropping Sam Darley, Fletcher Roberts and Liam Jones. The match is being played in Geelong at the fairly unreasonable time of 4:40PM on Sunday afternoon; like the Thursday night Geelong game earlier in the season, thousands of seats held be reserved ticket holders are expected to go empty with Melbourne and Western District members likely to stay home. Earlier on Sunday the same two sides meet in the VFL.

CATS TESTED BY BULLDOGS
BUT HANG ON By Ben Jensen GEELONG defeated the Western Bulldogs by 21 points at Etihad Stadium after being held goalless in the final term while the Bulldogs kicked three goals. The Cats lead by 46 points at three quarter time and seemed to be cruising to a ten goal win. Harry Taylor added three more for the quarter for a total of five after starting up forward. Steven Motlop three goals while at the other end Liam Jones booted four goals and Jake Stringer three. Recruits Josh Caddy and Jared Rivers took no further part in the match in the first half, Rivers incurring a knee injury and subbed of for Taylor Hunt, Caddy a more precautionary move after receiving a knock to the head. Skipper Joel Selwood briefly left the field during the third quarter after a whack to the guts by opposite number Matthew Boyd. In the VFL the Cats thumped Frankston by 79 points.
