AFL 2015 ROUND 9:
WEST COAST V GEELONG MATCH PREVIEW AFL ROUND 9 2015: WEST COAST EAGLES V GEELONG CATS THE CATS claimed yet another AFL coaching scalp over the past two decades, this time poor old Mick Malthouse, sacked by Carlton days after the seventy-seven point loss on Friday night. But the Cats will have their own work cut out for them on Sunday afternoon in Perth, facing a resurgent West Coast side who is second on the ladder behind cross town rivals Fremantle. Having had just two losses this season thus far the Eagles are eight spots higher on the ladder than the Cats, who have a 50% win/loss record. No outs for the Cats, with three first year players coming in, retread Sam Blease in for his second game and two potential first-gamers named on the seven man bench. West Coast have lost Elliot Yeo to suspension and named four inclusions, with Tom Barrass set to make his AFL debut should he make the final cut.
UMPIRES TBC TIP: Cats by 5 points
