AFL 2015 ROUND 12:
GEELONG V MELBOURNE FINAL TEAMS AFL ROUND 12 2015: GEELONG CATS V MELBOURNE DEMONS COREY ENRIGHT becomes just the third Geelong player to play three hundred games today. After starting with the Cats under Mark 'Bomber' Thompson in 2001, Enright is well known within the club but perhaps not so much outside of it, despite winning three Premierships, a five All Australian and dual best and fairest winner- in the 2009 and 2011 Premiership seasons to boot. Sadly, missing the milestone is James Kelly who suffered an ankle injury early in last weekend's win over Port Adelaide in Adelaide. Rhys Stanley will also miss after suffering a foot injury later in the same match, having played a blinder to that point. Jake Kolodjashnij will make his AFL debut in the backline alongside Enright, and after missing the VFL game yesterday Nakia Cockatoo is a chance to play should there be a late change. Jake was picked up in the November 2013 draft and has patiently awaited his chance in the VFL side, and believed to have attracted attention from other clubs, coming out of contract at the end of the season. The game is being broadcast on Fox Footy, starting at twenty past three on Sunday. Absolutely puzzling why the game is starting at 3PM given it's the only game of the day and being a pay-TV only game, it ain't to coincide with the 6PM 7 News. It shouldn't detract from the game but may result in a few with a two-three hour trip to get back home give the game a miss which is a real shame.

IN TOP FOUR AFL 2014 ROUND 17 MELBOURNE DEMONS V GEELONG CATS GEELONG brought home the four points with a 66 point win over Melbourne at a very chilly MCG yesterday, though game watchers were pretty much none the wiser on the form of either side after a very uneventful second half that saw just three goals scored by either side. Should Richmond hold off Port Adelaide tomorrow, the Cats will hold onto a spot in the top four for the first time since their defeat at the hands of Gold Coast a few weeks back. This evening the VFL side were beaten by Richmond under lights at Simonds Stadium in a match that by all reports made the MCG match feel warm. The Cats led at the first three changes but the four point lead at three quarter time ended up being a four point defeat, the Tigers outscoring the Cats in the final term. In between the two games, Channel Seven and 3AW commentator Brian Taylor created controversy, referring to Harry Taylor as a 'big poofter' for the manner in which he left Simonds Stadium after his 150th game last week. 'BT' is set to face suspension from 3AW and possibly also Channel Seven. FULL MATCH REPORT GEELONG:
