AFL 2015 ROUND 15:
NORTH MELBOURNE V GEELONG MATCH PREVIEW AFL ROUND 15 2015: NORTH MELBOURNE KANGAROOS V GEELONG CATS GEELONG's season resumes this weekend, after the two rounds off with the bye and following the tragic death of Crows coach Phil Walshe. Jimmy Bartel returns from injury to play North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night. Also coming into the side, with three changes from the team that lost to Melbourne in round 12, is triple-premiership player James Kelly along with ruckman Dawson Simpson. Simpson's return is no doubt influenced by the mauling the Cats copped in the ruck against Max Gawn of the Demons and the Kangaroos having Todd Goldstein, one of the more dominant ruckmen in the AFL. Missing via omission are Shane Kersten, Jake Kolodjashnij and Michael Luxford, the former probably justified after an ordinary performance against the Demons while Kolodjashnij is now heading into flight risk status after struggling for opportunities in a struggling Geelong lineup. Bartel played in the VFL last weekend and after almost two months out is a key inclusion. The Kangaroos have really swung the axe after being beaten by the Gold Coast last weekend, no less than four changes made. Danger forward Ben Brown is back as is Ryan Bastinac while Lachie Hansen misses through injury and three more have been axed including Majak Daw who only came back in last week after biding his time in the VFL.
UMPIRES TBC TIP: Cats by 36 points

AFL 2015 ROUND 4 GEELONG CATS V NORTH MELBOURNE KANGAROOS SUNDAY 26 APRIL 2015 15:20 AEST SIMONDS STADIUM 23 APRIL 2015 AFL 2015 ROUND 4: GEELONG V NORTH MELBOURNE MATCH PREVIEW CATS' SEASON GETS NO BETTER AFL ROUND 4 2015: GEELONG CATS V NORTH MELBOURNE KANGAROOS Apologies for the late posting; it's been a busy week and frankly we didn't think anyone would mind too much! The game started off OK with the Cats leading by 19 points at the first change, looked like a good day was ahead. Unfortunately the Cats didn't score a goal in the second quarter and trailed by four points at half time. The Kangaroos just had the better of the Cats in the third term edging ahead but in the last quarter booted five goals to three finishing off the Cats' hopes of a comeback. The Cats play Richmond in an away fixture at the MCG on Saturday afternoon, going in as underdogs, the first time surely in a decade against the Tigers. Check out the match review video that follows for some therapy. KANGAROOS:
