St Kilda led going into the final quarter but Geelong refused to give in, Tom Hawkins' fourth goal giving the Cats back the lead. But the Saints ultimately ended up on the better side of the see-saw, unheralded Jack Steven kicking the decisive goal to give his new side a five point win over the 2007 AFL Premiers.
