CATS BOUNCE KANGAROOS By Ben Jensen (back in London) IN THE AFL'S PENULTIMATE ROUND, GEELONG put a sizeable dent in North Melbourne's top four, let alone Premiership, aspirations in front of an absolutely jammed packed 24,288 at Skilled Stadium today. Although the Kangaroos led at quarter time and forward David Hale booted eight goals, the Cats led at every other change, four goals at the middle two breaks and finally running out thirty-three point victors. Contratry to reports by AAP, Paul Chapman and Cameron Mooney each booted four goals, with Brad Ottens, playing his 200th game, kicking three. Steve Johnson had to be content with two while for a change Tom Lonergan could only manage a single. The spurned Brent Prismall and Travis Varcoe earned reprieves, coming in for the injured James Kelly and Matthew Stokes respectively.
