CATS BACK ON TRACK WITH EASY WIN OVER
DOCKERS GEELONG thumped Fremantle in their second home game under lights at Simonds Stadium last night despite some inaccurate kicking. The game was alive at half time with the Cats just eleven points ahead of the Dockers but the Cats (all but ) blew the Dockers away, booting two goals nine behinds to no score, the Dockers having just the one inside fifty which was rebounded out straight away. This proved too much to come back from, the Cats finishing off well with a four goal three final quarter to win by forty-one points. Next week the Cats host the Hawks at the MCG in a repeat of the round one clash. Geelong will be hoping the 'Hawkiwobbles' otherwise known as the Kennett Curse continues for an eleventh game. TEAMS
