``Melbourne has firmed from $1.60 into $1.50 and consequently West Coast is out to $2.40,'' he said.

Sydney Swans have firmed from $1.55 into $1.45 to defeat the Kangaroos at $2.55.

Betting for the Sunday matches had been quiet, although Davies said Geelong had attracted some support to firm from $1.50 into $1.45, and St Kilda had eased to $2.55.
