AFL 2013 ROUND 10; GEELONG V GOLD
COAST; MATCH PREVIEW By Ben Jensen twitter.com/thecattery GEELONG CATS V GOLD COAST SUNS THE CATS play their first home game at Geelong under lights this Saturday night. Returning for the occasion is triple-Premiership player James Kelly and promising ruckman/forward Nathan Vardy replacing the rested Jackson Thurlow and injured James Podsiadly. Gary Ablett finally returns home for his first match since turning his back on the Cats at the end of 2010. Gary will lead first gamers Tom Nicholls, Timmy Sumner into action, the 201cm tall Nichols set to start in the ruck with Sumner likely to start on the bench. It is sure to be an absolutely freezing night so you'd better rug up if you're heading down, and get in early even if you've reserve seats. There remain tickets for sale however, a final release opening up at 9am on Friday via Ticketmaster. General admission tickets will go on sale at 5PM Saturday of he game. Finally Saturday also sees some nostalgia, with the VFL side playing Essendon at Windy Hill at 1PM.
