AFL 2012, ROUND 10, SIMONDS STADIUM SATURDAY 2 JUNE 2012 13:45 AEST MATCH REPORT - CATS PUT UNDER THE PUMP, RUN OVER GIANTS IN SECOND HALF MATCH PREVIEW - AFL ROUND 10 2012; GEELONG V GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY CATS PUT UNDER THE PUMP, RUN OVER GIANTS
IN SECOND HALF By Ben Jensen twitter.com/thecattery GEELONG CATS V GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY GEELONG were fairly unimpressive for at least half of the game against Greater Western Sydney today but still managed to win by 65 points. GWS led for pretty much all of the first half, the Cats not putting on much of a show. Earlier in the VFL comeback kid Dan Menzel injured his 'good' knee in his much anticipated comeback game, and the AFL side made three changes, Corey Enright (brake foot), Joel Corey (shoulder) and Motlop (shoulder) all replaced in the selected side by Jesse Stringer, Tom Gillies and Billie Smedts. Harry Taylor played up forward in place of Hawkins and performed really well, having always been such a good marker of the ball all he had to do was work on his goal kicking. In his 100th match he kicked six goals, including one after the final siren. Steve Johnson kicked five, James Podsiadly three while for the Giants there were just three multiple goalkickers in Jeremy Cameron, Dylan Shiel and Adam Treloar each with two goals. GEELONG:
