2017 ROUND 21:
GEELONG CATS V RICHMOND TIGERS
ALL THREE GEELONG sides had
wins today, in the VFL, VFL Women's and finally the AFL side cemented
third spot on the ladder, defeating Richmond by 14 points. Harry Taylor
booted four goals to vindicate the decision to move him up forward this
season in the absence of key forward Tom Hawkins. Cameron Guthrie stood
out in the midfield combining with Patrick Dangerfield and Sam Menegola
to compensate for the loss of Joel Selwood and Mitch Duncan.
Earlier the VFL
had their first win in just under two months while the VFL Women's side
also had a win on St Mary's Oval- the first time all three sides have
won in the one day.
